Revenue was up in April for jetBlue

New York's hometown airline and the largest operator out of Boston Logan Airport,
jetBlue Airways 
has issued its preliminary traffic results for April this year which shows the carrier managed to increase its traffic by over 6% last month.

Load factor for April 2019 was 85.1 %, a decrease of 0.6 points from April 2018. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor for April 2019 was 98.6% and its on-time performance was 73.4 %. JetBlue continues to expect second-quarter revenue per available seat mile (RASM) to range between 1.0 and 4.0 %.





The airline also recently announced the promotion of Michael Stromer to Chief Product Officer, Technology, with the effect of the beginning of May.   In this role, Stromer will be responsible for strategy and product oversight across all of the airline’s digital and IT products that are key to driving efficiency and cost savings in the airline’s operations.
