The US mega-carrier American Airlines has launched a new nonstop service between Chattanooga and Philadelphia this week. The first flight took place on Friday evening from Philadelphia at 1835, arriving in Chattanooga at 2049 local time.
The first flight back departed Saturday at 0650 landing in to Philadelphia just after 0900 every day. “As part of our continued effort to develop a leading route network connecting more people and places across the globe, American Airlines is proud to launch new flights between Chattanooga and Philadelphia,” Jim Moses, Vice President of PHL Hub Operations, said. “The service provides customers nonstop access to American’s trans-Atlantic gateway and largest Northeastern hub, offering customers connectivity to more than 120 destinations across the U.S., Caribbean and Europe.”

“Boardings at the Chattanooga airport continue to take off with a record number of travellers choosing to fly local, and our airline partners play an important part in that success,” Terry Hart, president and CEO of the Chattanooga Airport, said. “When our airlines like American add new routes, they’re helping us increase options for our passengers and ultimately contribute to the economic growth of our region.”

The Westin Chattanooga is located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, it is within walking distance to all of the major Chattanooga attractions. The rooms are of a wonderful standard as you would expect from a Westin and the Dorato Restaurant and Bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a fantastic menu. Alchemy is the hotels 10th-floor SkyBar and offers great views of downtown Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain and is a great place to kick back and relax. The Chattanoogan
The Chattanoogan tries to offer upscale amenities and service at a lower price than other hotels of the same category. The decor and interiors are of a post-modern industrial style, playing on the unique industrial heritage of Chattanooga in a modern, eclectic fashion. The Dwell Hotel
The Dwell Hotel is a funky stylish boutique hotel where lively meets luxury, and supposedly high class meets high comfort? It's a small hotel, with just 16 guest rooms which are retro reimagined. The hotel occupies a building that was constructed in 1909 and is full of vintage accents. It is in a good location downtown, so close to everything you need. The hotel doesn't allow pets or children and what it lacks in friendliness and warms staff it makes up with in style.
