Expanding in China says KLM with codeshare partnership with China Eastern

KLM expands its network in China

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has extended the number of code-sharing destinations it offers in partnership with China Eastern. The number of destinations will increase from 14 to 63, including Yinchuan, Xining, Shantao, Zhangjiang and Zuhai. This means KLM will offer customers an even more comprehensive network in China.

China Eastern will, in turn, offer code-sharing services to 24 new European destinations via the KLM network through Amsterdam, connecting with China Eastern flights between Shanghai and Amsterdam. China Eastern will offer 39 destinations in Europe, including Turin, Warsaw and Basel. The KLM flights between Amsterdam and Shanghai have been part of the joint venture between Air France, KLM and China Eastern since the end of 2018.
