easyJet Fearless Flyers..................the sky is the limit

The low-cost airline, easyJet, will be running its renowned Fearless Flyer course across Britain in the coming weeks giving an opportunity for those who are nervous flyers to take control and overcome a fear of flying.

The course, which has helped more than 8,000 phobics to date, is one of the best-priced aerophobia courses in the UK starting at just £199 per person and is divided into two main parts:

A ground session where top phobia expert Lawrence Leyton and a senior easyJet captain will explain the unfamiliar sounds and sensations passengers feel on board an aircraft and teach them a unique set of mind techniques to manage their nerves. This session lasts approx. 3 hours.
A special one-hour experience flight from the local airport where they can put the skills they’ve learnt into practice.

The courses will take place on the following dates and locations:

Manchester – Saturday 23 March 2019 (ground session and special experience flight from Manchester Airport)

Newcastle – Sunday 24 March 2019 (ground session and special experience flight from Newcastle Airport)

Liverpool – Saturday 11 May 2019 (ground session) and Sunday 12 May 2019 (special experience flight from Liverpool Airport)

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, commented: “We’re looking forward to running our Fearless Flyer courses across the UK in the coming months.

“The course is suitable for all levels of nervousness – from those who experience general anxiety to those who are first-time flyers - and with a success rate of more than 95% we would encourage those wishing to overcome their fear to take part.

Mark Wein, Director of FOF events which organise the courses, commented: “Around one in six people have a fear of flying, stopping many people from travelling abroad on holiday, visiting friends and family or even flying for work. We’re really excited to help those coming on our courses to overcome their fears - we achieve fantastic results and it can be life-changing for many.”
