Airbus and Embry-Riddle in Singapore sign MOU on aviation education


The AirBusiness Academy and the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Singapore have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on delivering aviation education and management training programmes for students and talents in the region.

Under the agreement, the two organisations will work on areas such as faculty exchanges, joint delivery of specific training programmes, and the hosting of each other’s courses at their respective campuses.

The collaboration will focus on courses in areas such as aviation strategy, finance and operations management, aircraft maintenance and engineering, innovation and leadership development. These could take the form of short professional education courses or complete curriculum leading to a degree.

Matthew Flaherty, Interim Vice Chancellor and Head of Asia at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, said: “Embry-Riddle is delighted to expand our relationship with Airbus.  We look forward to continued collaboration in training and educating the aviation and aerospace workforce in Singapore and the surrounding Asia region.”
