At the Bahrain Air Show, 2018 Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Alexcina Airways signed the Letter of Intention on the SSJ100 purchase. The new start-up charter airline that is headquartered in Dubai is going to be starting with up to 12 of the Superjet SSJ100's according to the details from the aircraft makers.
Talks are likely to continue between the two parties regarding delivery terms, configuration specifications and other important details. SCAC also say the aircraft may be delivered to Alexcina Airways or sub-company or even to other Alexcina customers.
On May 19th 2008 SSJ100 successfully accomplished its first flight. The Sukhoi Superjet 100 cruises at a Maximum Operating Speed of Mach 0.81 and 40,000 feet. It takes off from a 1,731 meters runway in the basic range and 2,052 meters in the long range. The operating range for the basic version is 3,048 km and 4,578 km for the long-range version. All models of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 are equipped with the same engine, two SaM 146 turbofans. The Sukhoi Superjet 100 philosophy is simple: to deliver a superior experience.
