Air Italy to launch flights to Toronto

Air Italy has released details of a new service to Toronto, Canada, which will start on May 6th 2019, becoming the eighth new international destination served from its Milan Malpensa hub.

The new service will be Air Italy first route to Canada and will be operated four times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays) between Milan Malpensa and Toronto, the Capital city of the Province of Ontario.  




The airline will operate an Airbus A330-200, offering 24 flatbed seats in Business Class and 228 seats in Economy Class.

The new route is the third new service planned for 2019 after the announcement of new flights from Milan Malpensa to Los Angeles and San Francisco on April 3 and April 11 respectively.

And our new route demonstrates our determination to continue our expansion with many exciting new destinations to attract visitors to Italy and to enable them to connect onwards, as well as providing our Italian customers with an ever-expanding array of exciting new destinations to visit, all while being treated to our superb hospitality and great onboard Air Italy experience."

Air Italy connects with seven Italian cities Rome, Naples, Palermo, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Olbia and Cagliari from its Milan Malpensa hub, four cities in the USA - New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco, two in India - Delhi and Mumbai, Toronto in Canada and Bangkok in Thailand.

Thailand and India are being operated with Air -haul Airbus A330-200, which offers up to 24 seats in the exclusive Business Class cabin making it possible to fly with maximum comfort in fully lie-flat seats with signature Italian cuisine accompanied by a selection of champagnes and Italian fine wines, Wi-Fi service, an extensive in-flight entertainment service and the personalised attention from its onboard staff.
