Liverpool to get three new Romanian routes

Liverpool's John Lennon Airport will get three brand new routes to the Romanian cities of Bucharest, Cluj and Iași, from 29th October this year, thanks to Wizz Air.

Wizz Air is one of Europe’s fastest growing airline groups and has promised introductiory fares starting at just £23 for the new routes to three of Romania’s most vibrant destinations.  Including these new services, Wizz Air now offers a total of 17 weekly flights from Liverpool, with more than 290,000 seats on sale in 2019 on flights to and from Liverpool. This represents nearly 17% growth compared to 2018, with the expansion of Wizz Air’s operations at Liverpool John Lennon Airport benefiting the region’s tourism, hospitality and aviation-related industries. 

Flights to Bucharest will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, whilst flights to Cluj-Napoca will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. The Iasi service will also operate on Mondays and Fridays.

£23 fare is one way, with just cabin baggage, other fees may apply.
