The most scenic airports in the world.......

Donegal Airport is the most scenic airport according to Private Fly.
The tiny Irish airport took the top slot following a global poll by Private Fly, really captured the hearts and minds of travellers. As you approach the airport you have amazing views of the Atlantic coast and golden sand of Carrickfin beach. 
The beach of Barra came in second as the most scenic airport, which is a little unusual as it isn't exactly an airport, just a beach which therefore arrivals and departures are only really possible during low tides and services by twin otter aircraft. However, for few that arrive, it is a very scenic place to set down.
Sticking out into the Mediterranean, Nice airport has long caused wow's, sighs and the clicking of cameras as passengers come into land at the French airport. The entire coastline is rather spectacular and on days when the weather is good, which is most of the time the experience is wonderful.  

Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport was voted as 7th most scenic landings in the world, it is the fourth consecutive year the Canadian airport has made the global poll by Private Fly.    Thousands of travellers from around the world cast votes to determine the 2018 list of the top ten and Billy Bishop Airport welcomes some 2.8 million passengers each year, so its no wonder it gets on the list as it boasts some stunning views of Toronto's skyline and harbour.

We're talking London City Airport which takes the 8th spot on the poll with passengers rating the airport highly.
