No more Colorado Springs - Las Vegas for Allegiant

Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air says it will stop its service in Colorado Springs towards the end of the month because of a lack of demand.

The low-fare carrier spokesperson said the decision was based entirely on the lack of demand on the route and will fly its last scheduled flight between the city pair on 29th April.

The airline has been operating on the route for the last 16 years with current rotations on a Friday and Sunday. However, in recent times they have faced strong competition from Frontier who operate a daily schedule with highly competitive fares and reliable service.
