LATAM to start route to Rome


LATAM Airlines Group will operate two new European services next ear the airline revealed this week.  From 17th March next year, LATAM Airlines Brazil will start its new direct flight connecting  Rome to São Paulo/Guarulhos, Brazil three times a week, the schedule is likely to increase to five times a week in July 2018.

“As part of LATAM’s continued commitment to providing the most comprehensive network to and from Latin America, in 2018 we are excited to offer passengers even more travel options with two new long-haul destinations. This represents a significant growth for LATAM in Brazil and is part of our long-term strategy to improve connectivity between Europe and Latin America. With convenient connections throughout Latin America, these routes will open new opportunities for bilateral tourism and trade not only in Brazil but also within the Latin American region.” said Rodrigo Contreras, vice president Europe of LATAM Airlines Group.  The airline already flies to a number of destinations in Europe including, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, London, Frankfurt and Milan.



The airline is also planning to introduce a service to Lisbon Portugal from the second period of 2018, subject to regulatory approval and will help connect Europe with over 120 destinations throughout Latin America.
