Qatar to add flight to Kathmandu

Qatar Airways are adding an additional daily flight on its Doha-Kathmandu route from today, 1st September, due to increased high demand during Nepal’s festival season, providing its passengers even more flexibility when travelling to the nation.

The additional flight is operated by an Airbus A320, leaving Doha at 01.25 and arriving in Kathmandu at 08.55.  Qatar Airways chief executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: “We are delighted to add an additional frequency to Kathmandu, in anticipation of increased demand for passengers travelling to Nepal for the festival season.

“This additional daily flight will allow our passengers even more opportunity to experience Kathmandu, a captivating city that draws travellers from all over the globe.”
