Major US expansion for WOW air next year!

The low-cost transatlantic Icelandic airline, WOW Air continues its North American expansion plans by offering a raft of new flights from iceland's  Keflavik International Airport to the US.

The new destinations are Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Cincinnati and the rather lovely St. Louis Lambert International Airport.  The addition of these four routes brings the total Midwest destinations WOW flies to, to five.

Earlier this year, WOW air began service to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and now with these four more flights, the airline's total number of U.S. destinations to 12.

WOW operate from a number of key European cities including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dublin, Copenhagen and more and will connect with the new American flights when they start in 2018.

The current schedule for the start dates of each new US destination are

Detroit        26th April
Cleveland   4th May
Cincinnati   10th May
St. Louis      17th May

It will be great to see the pure purple love machines head to more destinations across the United States of America with the world's youngest airline fleet, with an average aircraft age of just 2 years. This rapidly expanding airline has come along way since it wa started in November 2011 by Skúli Mogensen, its regularly come 7th in the best low-cost airline in Europe category at Skytrax World Airline Awards.
