Engine Hiccup For MRJ90

There will be another delay in the flight testing programme for Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation's . MRJ90 passenger jet.  The flight test program has had to be grounded following an unplanned engine shutdown during the middle of a test flight.

It's the latest in a series of setback for the new entrant into the commercial aircraft manufacturing sector who are currently running a major flight testing programme  with four MRJ90 aircraft they have in the US.

The aircraft was performing a routine test flight from their base at Moses Lake, Washington, earlier this week, when one of the Pratt & Whitney PW1200G geared turbofan engines shut down unexpectedly.
