Fares on the new route start at just £17.99 and are on sale now and the service will start on 16th December 2018. 2018 has been a year of massive growth for Wizz Air’s UK operations, following the launch of Wizz Air UK in May and the increase of its local UK fleet to eight Airbus aircraft. The new service between Birmingham and Cluj brings the total number of new UK routes for 2018 to 14; London Luton to Larnaca, Tirana, Tallinn, Bratislava, Lviv, Athens, Keflavik, Eilat, Grenoble, Verona, Bari and Tromsø, and Doncaster Sheffield to Debrecen.
The carrier saw an increase in its load factor in June to an amazing 93.3 percent and capacity increased by over 20 percent.
