A318-100 for Turkish VIP fleet



It has been announced that Turkish Airlines has decided to buy an ACJ318-100 business jet to be used exclusively for its VIP services. According to reports from the Istanbul operator will have the aircraft configured for just eight to ten passengers in a special premium cabin with full rest and galley areas.


The aircraft will join the small fleet of aircraft the airline uses to provide air transport for the senior officials of the Turkish Government.  This fleet includes a ACJ319, one ACJ330-200, one ACJ340-500, and one Challenger 850.   At this stage it is not clear when the new aircraft will arrive or if it will replace one of the existing aircraft in the fleet.
