10 injured as PIA plane starts wobbling!

 

At least 10 passengers were injured when a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane coming from Multan to Islamabad started wobbling in the air due to bad weather conditions, 30 minutes air travel away from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad (BBIAPI) here on Friday.

However, the pilot succeeded in landing the plane at the airport safely. The injured passengers were shifted by the rescuers first at the airport building and later to nearby hospitals for treatment because of their critical condition.

A PIA flight number PK 386 left Multan for Islamabad carrying 118 passengers on board. The flight lost its balance and started shaking in the air when it was 30 minutes air travel away from the BBIAPI. According to some passengers, the aircraft sharply turned towards the earth and started falling down till 300 feet than the required height.

The pilot made an announcement asking the passengers to fasten seat belts as the plane got uncontrolled. However, the pilot managed to land the plane safely after the struggle of 15 minutes. A total of 10 passengers got injured.

On the other hand, the authorities declared an emergency at the BBIAPI and ambulances reached near the runway. The injured passengers were shifted to the airport building and later to nearby hospitals.

When contacted, the PIA spokesman said the incident took place due to bad weather and only one passenger was injured.
